Girls Home International – Donabate Golf Club.
England narrowly beat Ireland to win the event.
England defeated Wales on the final day to complete the triple crown and win the Girls Home Internationals at Donabate, Friday 8 August.
Ireland lived to rue their first day 5-4 defeat by the ol’ enemy and despite follow-up victories over Wales and Scotland had to settle for second place on 2 points. Wales finished third thanks to their first day defeat over wooden spoon candidates Scotland in a feast of underage elite golf at the north Co. Dublin venue.
