In appreciation of our front line staff and first responders
Donabate Golf Club have announced today their forthcoming Frontline Staff and First Responders Appreciation Day. The Club and its members recognise the immense sacrifice the men and women of our front line staff and first responders have made during this pandemic.
As a thank you
By way of recognition and appreciation on September 4th 2020 Donabate Golf Club are inviting members from the frontline services and first responders to join us for a relaxing day of golf. This will of course be subject to H.S.E. protocols and Government guidelines.
A four person team scramble competition is being organised with place prizes plus nearest the pin and longest drive competitions for both the ladies and gents. Upon check-in our guests will be invited to have a light lunch and will then have the opportunity to avail of the clubs extensive practice facilities before teeing off.
If you have an official G.U.I or L.G.U.I. handicap we would ask you to play from that handicap, however if you do not have a handicap we will give Gents a maximum of 16 and ladies a maximum of 28. The only thing we will ask you on the day is to bring your valid work identification with you and we will be proud and honoured to do the rest.
It’s all Free
A group of members of Donabate Golf Club have raised funds for this day through corporate sponsorship and donations from members ensuring that there will be no cost to the Frontline Staff and First Responders.
The winning team on the day will also be asked to nominate a charity of their choice where all excess funds raised will be donated to that charity on their behalf.
Please include a contact number and a time for which you have a preference.
