We wish to acknowledge what a great privilege it is to be Captains of this wonderful Club for 2024. We look forward to meeting you all on the course or in the clubhouse during the coming months. We would also like to extend a warm welcome to visitors and guests. We wish you all good golf and good health and look forward to an enjoyable golfing year in 2024.
Founded in 1925 and located off the M1, Donabate Golf Club is one of the oldest Clubs in the country. Over the past 99 years, the club has evolved from a 9 hole to a 27 hole parkland course with recently developed state of the art practice and coaching facilities. Our course offers a challenging golf experience on beautiful manicured greens and fairways. We have a wide range of competitions for men, ladies and mixed. Juniors, up to the age of 20, are especially well catered for and encouraged to participate in Inter-Club matches and Opens. Our very enthusiastic volunteer members are always on hand, during school holidays, to advise and help with Junior groups.
Fintan Lacy is our resident PGA Professional and is available for lessons to everyone including Juniors, Get into Golf ladies and teams. Fintan and his back-up team, who operate from the Pro-Shop, are friendly, welcoming and always eager to help.
Our affiliated tennis club which opened in 2016 has 6 all-weather courts with floodlights and was recently awarded Tennis Ireland’s Silver Quality Award. The Club has already begun to make its mark in the DLTC (Dublin Lawn Tennis Leagues) and the Fingal League. New members are always welcome.
We trust that you will enjoy our golf course and clubhouse ambience and hospitality; we want you to have a memorable visit and one you will repeat. We have a wide variety of very competitive membership options. Hopefully, you will get the opportunity to join us and enjoy our wonderful facilities and the camaraderie of members. We have a wide range of competitions for men, ladies and mixed.
Happy golfing to all and Céad Míle Fáilte
