9 Holers Final Day Scramble:
We had 3 girls teams and 7 boys teams playing in the final junior 9 Holers Scramble. The kids all had a great day to finish off the summer season and everyone went away with a prize. Many thanks to all the helpers through out the summer – Lady Vice Captain Carmel Tuck, Evelyn Galvin, Grainne Synnott, Mary Berrigan, Marion Gorman, Aileen Hanratty, John Galvin, John McGillicuddy & Damien Hanratty. Without all your help we wouldn’t be able to run the Thursday competitions. Thank you also to the Mums, Dads, Grandads and Grannys who also helped us out. The juniors had a great golfing summer.
The Walsh Cup was held in Malahide on Sunday. As the weather was so bad the boys played the competition over 9 holes. We won 2.5 matches. Well done boys. The final is in Clontarf next weekend.
Fingal Girls Trophy:
The final day of the Fingal Girls Trophy was held in St Annes GC on Monday. The weather was awful but the competition went ahead. Well done girls in finishing in 4th place.
